So far pretty good

This is our first time trying this product. I purchased it for my 9 year old . She has a copy of the MTHFR gene mutation and has ALWAYS struggled with really bad constipation and tummy bloating ; I had yet to find her a good quality pro/pre biotic to help her. We are about 3 quarters of the way done with our first bottle and I am already so impressed with this product. My kiddo is begining to poop decent size "happy snakes" on a regular basis and more tiny rabbit pallets anymore. I will very likely place this and the methylated vitamins she also takes on a subscription order. They are worth the money!! Thank you so much.

Why take Gut Health 4-in-1?

This unique blend of prebiotics, probiotics, and tributyrin is clinically proven to enhance microbiome health and gut barrier function.

The gut is home to an estimated 70% of the body’s immune cells. Intestinal microbiome helps regulate many bodily systems including the brain, heart, bone, muscle, and skin. Probiotic supplementation can improve microbial balance, stimulate host immunity, support the intestinal barrier that protects the body from pathogens, and reduce the risk of intestinal diseases.

Those with MTHFR genetic mutations are at greater risk of hyperhomocysteinemia (HHcy). HHcy has been associated with gut inflammation and other gastrointestinal disorders, including higher risk of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Gluten intolerance is another cause of gut inflammation and intestinal permeability.

Gut Health 4-in-1 is designed to support gut health and to assist in the breakdown of macro- and micronutrients, which may improve absorption of B-vitamins and mitigate gastrointestinal disorders.

Why Bacillus probiotics?

Unlike other probiotics, spore-based probiotics are resistant to gastric acid. This allows them to pass through the stomach and enter the intestine in the same concentration without being degraded.

In addition, Bacillus strains are shown to prevent the colonization of pathogenic bacteria that compete for nutrients and adhesion receptors. B. subtilis and B. coagulans were found to improve absorption of nutrients by stimulating the growth of beneficial bacteria and producing a healthier intestinal system.

Gut Health 4 in 1 contains clinically researched and patented prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics along with a comprehensive blend of digestive enzymes to promote digestion, ease digestive discomfort and promote nutrient absorption.

Why PreforPro®?

PreforPro® is a prebiotic bacteriophage blend shown to accelerate growth of a broad spectrum of probiotic species including Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, and Bacillus subtilis.

Phages can reduce populations of ‘bad’ bacteria, allowing more space for healthy bacteria (probiotics) to proliferate. When used in combination with probiotics, PreforPro® is shown to enhance probiotic effects, reduce GI inflammation and colon pain, increase Lactobacillus and short-chain fatty acid-producing microbes in the gut.

As PreforPro® is not fiber or starch-based, it doesn’t cause digestive discomfort, bloating, or flatulence.

Why Corebiome®?

CoreBiome® is the number one selling tributyrin in the world. This unique derivative of butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) produced by healthy bacteria in the gut. Butyrate is the primary fuel source for the cells of our gut lining and plays a key role in digestive health and immune function. By delivering CoreBiome® directly to both the small and large intestine, this valuable SCFA supports cells involved in immune health.

CoreBiome® is also the first SCFA clinically shown to boost butyrate and stimulate butyrate-producing bacteria.

Tributyrin supplementation is shown to preserve immune responses, reduce oxidative stress in the colon and maintain integrity of intestinal villi vasculature.

Why digestive enzymes?

Digestive enzymes assist in the breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, gluten, and dairy. Supplementation may help in the management of digestive and/or malabsorption disorders including lactose intolerance and gluten sensitivity.
